Darling, let’s talk about what "Boudoir" actually means..
The word itself comes from the French verb bouder—to sulk or withdraw. Way back when, a boudoir was a woman’s private sanctuary; a place to retreat from the world and just be with herself. But somewhere along the line, boudoir photography turned into a performance—a secret created for someone else’s eyes.
At Untamed Muses, we’re changing the narrative. We create through the Female Gaze. The intimacy is still there, but the intention has shifted. We aren't "hiding" in these rooms anymore. We are withdrawing from the noise of a world that constantly tells us how to look, what to wear, and how to act. We’re over the relentless inner critic and the "rules" of what is considered beautiful.

Long before the session, we sit down to map out your custom palette, mood, and landscape, whether that's the untamed earth or quiet studio light. But mostly, we talk about you, what sparks your fire, and what we are reclaiming.
2. The Collaboration
I act as both artist and guide. If you feel stiff, we turn up the music, laugh, and shake the day's stress right out of your body. I handle the technical framing so you can drop the armor and simply exist in your own gloriousness.
3. The Sanctuary
A private, women-only space built on absolute trust. Whether you are barefoot in the forest or draped in fine fabrics, your emotional and physical safety is the bedrock of everything we do. You belong entirely to yourself here.
4. The Reveal
The final brushstroke. You’ll return to the studio to view your curated portraits. This is the moment where it all clicks—where you see your power and your history staring right back at you.
One Muse Per Day
I only ever book one client a day because we are not a corporate conveyor belt. Whether we need an extra hour to drink tea and chat, or we’re waiting for the sun to hit the perfect angle in the forest, the day belongs completely to You.

I’ve changed since having children/growing older. Should I wait until I feel "ready"?
If you wait for the "perfect" version of yourself, you miss the beauty of who you are right now. My work is about Living Proof: honouring the body that has carried you through life, motherhood, and/or career. There is no "ready." There is only the decision to finally be seen, I got you, all the way.
I don’t know how to pose. Is that okay?
It’s more than okay!it’s expected. My process is intuitive and organic. I guide you through the entire experience, focusing on your breath and your movement rather than stiff, forced poses. We aren't creating a "perfect" image; we are capturing your raw, untamed energy.
We can take breaks, we chat throughout, we laugh, we may dance, it's a lot more laid back than what most people picture in their head.

The environment we choose is a vital part of the ritual. I want you to feel at your most grounded, so we work together to find the space that feels most aligned with the story we are telling. Your sanctuary might be:

How do we decide?
We discuss all of this during our initial consultation. We don’t just pick a spot because it looks "pretty"; we choose the location that feels most supportive of the breath you need to take. We find what feels aligned for you.
